Your Role
The Moulding Technician is responsible for independently setting up, operating, and optimizing injection‑molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment to consistently produce high‑quality products. The role acts as a senior technical expert on the shopfloor, ensures stable processes, supports continuous improvement, and provides technical guidance and training to junior mold technicians and machine operators.
Your Responsibilities
- Set up, change over, and operate injection‑molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment to produce parts that meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot process, machine, and secondary‑equipment issues, including basic electrical troubleshooting, with maintenance support as required.
- Perform mold setups, including large molds, water‑circuit configuration, and color changes, and ensure correct parameter settings.
- Monitor product quality continuously and take immediate corrective actions in case of deviations from specifications.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of molds in the press and support stable, repeatable production processes.
- Train and support Mold Technicians I & II and assigned machine operators in setup, process control, and quality requirements.
- Work closely with shift supervisors, process engineers, and plant personnel to support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
